John Cockrell Jr., brings to his role insightful corporate knowledge and management savvy. A third generation printer, John joined his family business, Cockrell Printing, in 2002; launched digital printing company, Enovation Group, in 2003 and brought the two companies together to form Cockrell Enovation in 2008, for which he also serves as Vice President. Colleen Shutt, Creative Director
Colleen Shutt leads the creative team at Polka Dot Design. Her inspired vision guides the visual and written expression of the Polka Dot Design brand. She also develops new product designs, promotional campaigns and print marketing pieces, as well as other external communications tools, along with managing the Polka Dot Design blog and social media outlets. Madison Nguyen, Marketing Manager
Madison Nguyen began her career at Polka Dot Design’s parent company, Cockrell Enovation, as a marketing intern. Madison provides the infrastructure to help customers find exactly what they are looking for and she feels strongly that no matter what it is, Polka Dot Design has it. Her marketing efforts and project management at are crucial to everyday operations.

Kristen Alexander, Operations Manager
Kristen Alexander Thornton ensures there is a constant flow of daily duties while managing company goals, setting clear objectives and smoothly leading the team’s projects while providing guidance and expertise across multiple spectrums. Often considered the mom of the group, Kristen oversees all of the Polka Dot Design staff members, whom she calls the “teamo supremo.” According to Kristen, her work is a true joy.
